The short version

Nauta processes only the assistant answer you explicitly select. It does not read, persist, or transmit complete chat histories. The current product parses trips locally and stores reviewed trip objects in your browser profile.

What Nauta processes

On supported AI sites, the extension observes page structure so it can place a quiet Build this trip action near eligible assistant answers. Answer text is not persisted during this observation.

After you click Build this trip, Nauta:

• converts that selected answer to plain text;
• parses days and place candidates inside the extension;
• creates a normalized trip draft; and
• stores that draft in local browser extension storage.

What Nauta does not collect

• complete chat history;
• prompts or unrelated assistant answers;
• place names, trip titles, or notes as telemetry;
• calendar content;
• conversation URLs containing private identifiers; or
• payment-card information.

Nauta does not sell personal data and does not use selected itinerary content to train an AI model.

Maps and calendar exports

Google Maps links and ICS calendar files are created only from trip objects you have had an opportunity to review. Opening a Maps link or importing an ICS file is an explicit user action. Nauta does not book travel or write directly to a calendar in the current local beta.

Website data

This website does not currently use product analytics, advertising trackers, or behavioral profiling. The hosting service may process ordinary request data such as IP address, browser type, requested path, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.

If you join the private beta, Nauta collects the email address you submit, your optional trip-planning frequency, the signup location on this site, and the time of consent. That information is used only to manage beta access and send Nauta product updates. It is not combined with itinerary content or sold.

Beta forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated submissions. The selected email-delivery or customer-list provider will be named here before the secure waitlist is enabled. Until then, the site presents a direct email fallback and does not accept form submissions.

Payments and Polar

Nauta is preparing optional paid plans using Polar as merchant of record. Those plans are not currently available for purchase. If checkout is enabled later, Polar will process transaction and tax information under its own privacy terms; payment-card data will not be stored by the Nauta extension.

Your controls

You can edit, export, and delete local trip drafts inside the extension. Removing the extension also removes its access to supported AI pages. Browser-profile or device backups may retain data according to your browser vendor’s policies.

Beta emails will include an unsubscribe option. You can also request access to or deletion of your waitlist information by contacting support@nauta.travel.

Children and sensitive travel

Nauta is not directed to children. Travel plans can reveal sensitive future locations and dates, so avoid using shared browser profiles for itineraries you consider private.

Changes and contact

This policy will be updated before Nauta adds any remote trip processing, identity, sync, direct calendar access, or content analytics. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
